#3 LAGYNOS ($7.18) got the lead coming to the stretch and ran away from the field in the stretch to win the $275,000 Arlington Stakes (G3) at @ChurchillDowns. The son of Kantharos was ridden by @jose93_ortiz and is trained by Steve Asmussen.
GI @KentuckyDerby winner Golden Tempo (Curlin) had his final work Saturday at Keeneland in preparation for the GI Belmont Stakes June 6 at Saratoga Race Course.
With jockey @jose93_ortiz aboard, the colt covered four furlongs on a fast track in :48.20.
🏆 Original Sin (Curlin) was sent into the lead fully three furlongs from home in Saturday's GIII Blame Stakes at Churchill Downs and just managed to fend off Ohio-bred Who Dey for his first win at the black-type level.
