"On behalf of Curlin, Stonestreet Farms, and my family, I want to thank everyone who participated in the poll for their enthusiastic support of this great athlete's career. The groundswell of support from horse racing fans far exceeded our expectations. There are many elements to consider and ultimately Curlin's vote will count the most. His responses during his training sessions will guide our decision on his future. One thing is certain, the public's overwhelming response to this poll confirms thoroughbred racing's continuing place as one of our country's great pastimes."
